What would happen if I shipped a dog without a health certificate?
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010I’m having a friend check my dog as checked baggage. Its a domestic flight from ANC to DTW (michigan). She doesn’t have time to get a health certificate and Delta does not require papers for domestic pets flying as checked baggage. What happens if they want papers when she gets into Detroit and she doesn’t have any? Will they want papers? Can I get a MI vet to declare health once he’s already flown in? I called detroit metro but they have not returned my call.
what fee? can i just get papers once hes here?

Thursday, April 1st, 2010I know nothing about dog diseases, I guess like cats, they’ll have certain vaccins and deworming every 6 months?
I’m going to the animal shelter tomorrow and I need to make sure I don’t end up with a dog who has health problems, for 2 reasons: obviously it means more money spending on vets and also, it’s heart breaking to have a pet who’s sick.
Is there a virus he could have? I have a cat at home so I don’t want to risk any contagious infection. Please help!

im trying to get edjumacted. i just seems that there are 2 very vocal sides to the issue. some say purebreds are better, others say mixes are better. what i didnt want is some bias ass hole like you to answer that whines and cries about mixing bloodlines. you sound like a piece of southern white trash or something
